  • 2014 Phoenix Select

Guitar One of the last and best efforts of Rolfe Gerehardt, the Select was voiced for Bluegrass. Some were made with a bridge made of antler on a maple base as well as maple neck, back, and sides, and ebony fingerboard, and this one has an exceptionally even, tight grained Adirondack spruce top, all of which adds up to an impressive sounding mandolin. Unusually beautiful, creative inlays such as the ones seen here were an optional feature, and these speak for themselves. If you're still reading this you probably already know about these instruments. Unlike so many I come across, this one is not "out of stock". Yet -

  • 1959 D'angelico New Yorker

Guitar Early '59 cutaway New Yorker, unusually fine condition. King of the Archtops, D'angelico New Yorker cutaway from 1959. Some touch up on the treble side of the body and a few extra reinforcement strips internally in the same area. No apparent damage inside or out. Non original but period case. • 1959 Fender Bassman

Guitar ‘59 Fender 4x10 Bassman 5F6-A. Looks very good, sounds very great. Legendary guitar amp, notorious killer for harp, and NOTHING sounds better for bass at moderate volume. Changed capacitors & handle, AC cable upgraded to 3- prong. Transformers, speakers and pretty much everything else original and quite good sounding: the amp’s last owner made sure that anything not right, or not up to spec, was expertly taken care of, and it sure sounds that way.

  • ~1987 Rickenbacker 381-12

Guitar Big, beautiful, rare early reissue of the original late '60's model, just like the one John Kay played, only less black. Looks absolutely unplayed / brand new / yet to be made etc. Again - I don't think I've ever seen a nicer looking one. And oh btw - it sounds and plays as good as it looks, if that's even possible. Original case in near new condition. POR
