  • 2003 Taylor 714 CE-LTD Near Mint, Original Hard

Guitar 2003 Talor 714CE-Limited, with outrageous Cocobolo back and sides and flame maple binding, Expression system too. Outstanding woods and close to new condition other than 1 typical split in the fingerboard ( it happens) and one factory flaw ( factory original that is ): like other tropical hard-woods, including Brazilian rosewood and ebony, Cocobolo is prone to developing splits or separations, and on the bottom of the guitar (see pic) there is a small, slight, separation along the grain line that obviously was known and dealt with during construction, as an interior view reveals the same white-ish glue residue along the hairline that is clearly visible where we'd expect to see it; along edges of kerfing and end block.

  • 1974 Ramirez 1a Cedar and Brazilian Rosewood Excellent, Original Hard, Call For Price!

Guitar This guitar was built in the famous workshop of Jose Ramirez III, which produced instruments performed on by countless professionals over the years from Segovia to Sting, Chet Atkins to Sabicas, Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening. This one was made by Juan Miguel Guardiola, who's name corresponds to his ID # stamped on the underside of the top. The tone is thick yet clear, and has that essential warm, moody quality that made Ramirez famous. It features first rate materials and is in great condition for its age: one long crack on the back has recently been expertly repaired by master luthier Matt D'ambrosio, in addition to a few lesser typical repaired ones. An excellent example of a fine Ramirez for either collector or concert player. SOLD.
