1987 Martin D-45 LE Brazilian, this is one of 50 limited edition D-45s marking the 50 year anniversary of the introduction of the 14 fret D-45 in 1937. Made with gorgeous Brazilian rosewood, scalloped forward X bracing and expanded style 45 abalone trim. Chris Martin's signature is on the label as well as on the underside of the top, along with those of everyone who worked on the guitar.This guitar is #2 of 50 made and there is one in the Martin museum. This a is strong, powerful guitar, with excellent balance and clear low end, a big, open sounding dreadnaught which also has good definition and even response across it's tonal range.
