Fender   Vibroverb

October '64 Vibroverb; this puts it late in the total production run of these, the advantage of these being the AB 763 circuit; this is regarded as the best of the mid '60's black panel amp circuits, used in most models including the Deluxe Reverb, Twin Reverb, Super Reverb, Vibrolux Reverb & Showman. The earlier AA 763 has a few differences in values of some components, resulting in the AB 763's scooped midrange and loud, clear, punchy voice. This is an outrageously good amp, stock other than some tubes, an Orange County re-cone of the amps original JBL D-130 speaker, and the upgraded 3 prong power cord. The amp was owned & used for many years by Don Helms, steel player for Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Jim Reeves and others. There's a letter from him about the amp along with a couple of photos of Don. Original foot switch included along with a custom made cover.
